To run the bot you need a VPS. You can get a VPS for as cheap as €6.65 a month. We are using Netcup. Below you find a guide about how you can purchase and install a VPS.
Good luck!
This is the most boring part of the entire setup, but is necesary. Good luck! 😄
💻 What is a 'VPS'?
You need a VPS (Virtual Private Server) to run the bot because it operates 24/7. Even if your computer is always on, issues like internet disruptions or power outages can interfere with your trades. A VPS ensures the bot runs continuously without interruptions. A VPS is basically a computer you rent which is on 24/7.
You can use any VPS provider since MT4 and the bot require very little computing power. However, it’s important to choose a reliable provider, such as Netcup. Netcupis what we use. Make sure to get a Windows VPS, as that’s required to run MT4 and the bot. You can access and manage the VPS from any device.
💻 What VPS Should I Use?
Any reliable VPS will work with Zone Surge. Just a heads-up: "Forex VPS" is a marketing term, these are often just regular VPS services being resold at higher prices. You don’t need anything fancy. A solid VPS can cost between €3 and €10 per month.
You can do your own research, or check out trusted providers like:
Myforexvps.com (charges more, but simple to setup)
etc.

Congratulations, your VPS is now fully set up and ready to use!
Configuring Your VPS (Recommended Steps)
Now that you're connected to your VPS, let's make it more user-friendly:
1. Disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security
On your VPS desktop, open Server Manager (you can find it in the Start menu).
In the left menu, click on Local Server.
Look for IE Enhanced Security Configuration on the right.
Click it, and turn it off for both Administrators and Users.
🔒 This makes browsing and downloading much easier on your VPS.
2. Install Google Chrome
Open Internet Explorer.
Search for Google Chrome and download it from the official website.
Install it — Chrome offers a smoother and more modern browsing experience than IE.
Windows Expiring every 180 days
Your Windows license usually lasts 180 days. Re-arm it on day 179 so it doesn’t expire. Open Command Prompt (CMD) as Administrator and run: slmgr -rearm Then restart your VPS.
To check your expiry date: Open Command Prompt (CMD) as Administrator and run: slmgr -xpr.
That’s it, just remember to do this every 179 days!
