01. Choose Your VPS
Go to:
Other counties: https://acn.ionos.com/aff_c?offer_id=1&aff_id=11088&url_id=72
Choose the VPS size:
Windows S is enough for 1 MT4 or MT5
Windows M is suitable for 2 to 4 MT4 or MT5 platforms
Continue and complete the payment.
02. Wait for the VPS to Be Ready
After payment, go to your IONOS Control Panel. The VPS status will first show as not ready. This is normal. It usually takes around 15 minutes.
Once the status shows a green circle, your VPS is ready to use.
03. Save Your Login Details
In the Control Panel, you will find:
Host (IP address)
User (username)
Initial Password
Save these details somewhere safe. You will need them to connect to your VPS.
04. Connect to the VPS
On your local computer, open the Windows program called Remote Desktop Connection. Paste the Host (IP address) and click Connect.
Enter:
Username (User)
Password (Initial Password)
When a popup appears, click Yes. A new window will open. This is your VPS.
05. Basic VPS Setup
After connecting, Server Manager will open automatically. Find Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration and turn it Off. This makes browsing and downloading much better.
06. Install Google Chrome
Open Microsoft Edge on the VPS. Download Google Chrome. Chrome may download in German. This is normal.
After installation:
Open Chrome settings
Go to language (Sprache)
Select English
Restart Chrome
07. Install MetaTrader 5
Open Google Chrome. Go to your broker’s website and download MetaTrader 5. Install MT5 on the VPS. Log in using the MT4 or MT5 account details you received by email from your broker.
Once this is done, your VPS is ready and you can continue with installing and setting up the bot.
